I DIDN"T HEAR NOBODY PRAY!

There is an old country music tune that goes something like this:

"I heard the crash on the highway, but I didn't hear nobody pray.  I didn't hear nobody pray, dear brother, I didn't hear nobody pray.  I heard the crash on the highway but I didn't hear nobody pray!

I heard the political crash concerning the comments of Senator Trent Lott.  I heard the historically ignorant TV media pundits, newspaper reporters and the irresponsible liberal and secular 'wanna be' politicians demonize a distinguised and honorable American. I heard all these people downgrade, demoralize and demonize the whole south, especially the state of Mississippi. I heard all of this, but I didn't
hear nobody pray, dear brother, I didn't hear nobody pray!

What is wrong with us?  Have we lost our values?  My pastor says that values are caught, not taught.  They are caught from moral, ethical and religious individuals who have a sense of direction of what is right and what is wrong. I agree with him.  Far too many years have passed since we as a people, especially our leaders, have strived to look to a higher power for these values. 

We no longer live in a Christian country.  We are now a liberal and secular nation and a lot of our citizens and most of our leaders are unfamiliar with a higher power. They seem to be playing an eerie reward game of some sort, seeking a raise, or the next promotion, or for that matter the next headline.They seem to be lost in a materialistic world and could care less for a fellow man who has asked forgiveness.  God help us!

Most real conservatives respect the mind and intellect this higher power has given to mankind and have always took a common sense approach to solving our problems. They also recognize the human imperfections that plagues all of us. The curriculum of most of our conservative instituions are under attack as never before. This assault is massive and is primarily led by the leaders of a secular, liberal and elitist movement
that will destroy this nation and the individual freedoms as they use misdirected emotions to solve our problems. All the while their endless maze of entangling laws and legislation is enabling an army of bureaucrats who will still be functioning when our individual freedoms are a dim memory.  What will we say to our grandchildren when they whisper in our ear and asks us to explain the blessings of liberty we once knew and enjoyed!

Most Americans have long since ceased to judge their fellow citizens by the color of their skins; they do however, seems to judge them by the content of their character, yet if you are a conservative, you are still called a racist. As a result of their own policy of demagoguery and elitism I now cease to consider liberals to be a worthy political opposition.  They have built a nation of secularism and I now consider them to be intentionally evil!

Franklin D. Roosevelt with the help of mass radio communications introduced to the public a new form of religion that would later, aided and abetted by the TV media, be known as political correctness/postmodernism.  This vile and evil entity perpetuated
by historically ignorant pundits and audiences gradually became the mainstay of the liberal demagoguery practiced buy 87% of the TV media, newspapers and most politicians.

We have always been a nation in progress.  Relatively speaking, we will always have the poor and oppressed.  The history of the United States is now almost entirely being presented to the minds of our citizens, especially the young college students, as a history of oppresion in such a way as to make the conditions of oppression much worse than it actually is.Some of the conditions of oppression are true but they are selected truth that can easily create a political correctness/postmodernism demagoguery by the liberals.  No social problem has ever been adequately met by these elitist; therefore each and every  conservatives will always be known as a racist.

I am thoroughly convinced that human beings cannot live and be an effective agent of life in this world without realizing or having some sort of concept of a higher power or a being greater than themselves.  Something or someone transcends themselves, their greed and their own egotistical desires.  This is why secular liberalism is self destructive. Once they eliminate the idea of a creator and a God that has a purpose for us,  they must therefore maintain mankind is a self fulfilling entity,  They then have no choice but to maintain a false and mental disorder that they are God.

By and large we are a nation of immigrant minorities.  Most all the legal immigrants arrived here penniless and to a degree uneducated. These people seem to be able to blend and melt, en masse, into our society.  It was hard work and conditions were rough but they somehow made it and we and they were much better as a result.  That was then.  Today it is a lot different and being poor is a relative thing. Our immigrants, most of them are illegal, still arrive penniless and uneducated.  They work hard but only until they learn that todays poor are swamped with subsidies that are more than sample to sustain them and their families without working.  They join our own homegrown minorities simply because a liberal elite character flaw that desires, wants and needs the poor to be dependent upon them.  In essence our liberal welfare system deprives the poor of a free economic system for them to strive to be better. God, please deliver us from this form of evil and get the government off our backs. Everybody needs to be somebody!
 
I detect a cowardly streak, a taint of yellow within the characterof a true liberal.  I think that is the reason they approach problems with their emotions rather with their intellect or mind.  We all know that war is evil and indeed it is. The liberal seems to believe that war is the only evil or the worst evil, therefore it must be avoided at all costs.  The truth
of the matter is that the will and ability to fight to the death in defense of our freedoms is paramount and the best insurance against war.   

If you want to know what the phrase "foxhole religion"  means ask any World War II veteran.  After 9-11-2000 this nation turned to our Creator for guidance and protection. Some of the faithful were sincere.  Most were not; they merely had a temporary attack of foxhole religion.  It lasted for a day or two!

We are back to our same old evil way of doing things. I have been a Republican all my life - a true blue conservative.  This instance, the persecution of Trent Lott, is an abomination; a revulsion so vile that any Republican be he a U. S. Senator, a U. S. Representative or the President of the United States, he should hang his head in shame.
