CONDEMNATION, A WAY OF LIFE
The connotations of words like condemnation, criticism, blame, denunciation, censure, reprehension or reprobation seems to creep into nearly every conversation or discussion I hear anymore. No matter where I go or what I see or hear, these words, favorite nouns of the evolving science of political correctness, are used in about every sentence uttered. Lets take a few moments just to listen to our selves, please!
Not long ago I was invited to attend a special gospel revival at one of our local churches. The preacher is a national known celebrity in certain circles, so to speak, and a well educated man. He is a fundamentalist and has a degree from a well renowned university with a seminary and a theological school of study.
His sermon was on "demon rum" and the entire discourse was a condemnation of a legal product that is both helpful when used wisely and sometimes harmful when used unwisely. He used every one of the above nouns to vilify and defame a product. He went so far as to say that he wished that the product had never been made. He went on to say that if you voted for this product to be sold in your county you would surely die and split hell wide open. His contention was that if you got rid of the product man would not use it as an instrument of sin.
The following night his sermon was on gambling. Again, the preacher declared that anyone voting for legalized gambling would get a double dose of hellfire and damnation. The church in which he was holding his revival holds a series of stocks that is in essence a form of gambling. His contention, that if man did not have anyplace to gamble he would cease and desist with the sin of gambling. Yet, he fails to recognize that we run around with a handful of coins in our pocket!
In Neshoba County, Mississippi we have one of the largest cassinos in the eastern part of the United States and another one under construction within the boundaries of the Choctaw Nation. Chief Martin is probably the smartest and one of the most moral persons in the whole state of Mississippi. It is amazing and heartwarming to see the progress of these underprivileged people over the past several years under his leadership. Chief Martin is merely rattling our loose change. We always have the free choice to gamble or keep our coins in our own pockets. Who is really casting the first stone?
"God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world…….." John 3:17
This mentality, a form of political correctness, has permeated the institutions of family, church and government to such an extent that it is becoming almost impossible to teach our children how to think for themselves.
The use of these words like condemnation creates fear and this fear is used to gain control of any given situation. If you are afraid to think things through clearly and positively with your own free will and be willing to take the responsibility to control your own destiny then you will remain in a state of self-condemnation. Heart, mind and soul must be surrendered to your creator in order for you to be free from fear. This you must do in order to truly be free and the way you do this is your own private business between you and your creator. Just think about this!
More energy is spent in the pursuit of controlling the human mind that anything upon the top side of this earth!
With this thought in mind let’s explore just a few of the situations we are facing in our present culture and society.
The founding fathers were fearless men of mind, body and spirit. It is reflected in the divinely inspired document upon our very freedom depends, the Constitution of the United States of America. These men, one and all, went beyond fear and entered into a joint venture with their creator as they thought things out for themselves. They wrote them down in simple English language so that we, the average citizen, can understand.
The ink on their signatures were not even dry before misguided individuals seeking power and control were out preaching their message of condemnation. For well over two hundred years now, these pundits using a persuasive theme of condemnation have been seeking control by weakening, diluting and destroying the contents of our constitution. They have always considered the Bill if Rights as a List of Suggestions to be gradually eroded into meaningless words.
In the 1930’s the Roosevelt administration brought an age of standardization for the America. Since that time individual thought has become passe and is only tolerated within certain limits or norms. A persuasive intellectual theme of condemnation under these limits and norms with the use of modern communications then becomes an evolving science of evil called political correctness.
Like the evangelical preacher with his tirade against whiskey the liberal political correctness advocates are now demanding that we allow them to do our thinking for us. They have been very successful over the past seventy years. Let’s take a look.
These elitist people keep telling us that we are not smart enough to understand what the following words, the entire Amendment II to the Constitution of the United States, means. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." That is simple language and directly to the point. If you can read you can understand these words, yet we see the preachers of condemnation trying to convince a confused nation that the solution to social sins and crimes of man is merely to get rid of our guns and man will suddenly become model citizens. Think! History proves that practically every despot and tyrant is the result of the people giving up their guns, either voluntarily or by confiscation.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," Amendment I, first line. Can any sane man construe the simplicity of these words and then interpret Thomas Jefferson’s metaphor as an absolute "wall" of Separation between Church and State? They did!
Separationists are the most dangerous enemies we, the American citizens, have ever faced. They believe in a secular mindset, worldly rather than spiritual, unrelated to religion in any way, shape, matter or form. Think! Our government reflects the mindset of its people! They want control and what better way than to scare the hell right of you with a hoax? (See my separate Chapter on Thomas Jefferson)
The intent of the framers of our constitution was to build a spirit of cooperation between our government and our churches.
A secular mindset of our people will gradually whittle away at our moral and ethical values until we will cease to know the difference between right and wrong. We are now beginning to see the symptoms as they become manifest in our children’s behavior. They are killing each other simply because they do not know the difference. They are morally deficient and we must ask our selves why?
Let us now explore the language of Amendment X. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States, or to the people."
These words contained in the Bill of Rights should mean exactly what they say, legalisms that are strict, literal and never subject to misinterpretation. They should not be subject to change by the nine senile old minds on the U. S. Supreme with an arbitrary whim or despotic fiat that is not limited by law. Think people! The actions of the members of the U. S. Supreme Court over the past seventy years are often unconstitutional in themselves! We have come to the point where these nine old people pollute, degrade and destroy our guaranteed freedoms under the constitution on a regular basis. They have, in essence, taken it upon themselves to enact laws by changing the simplest of meanings to suit their own agenda. Political correctness, postmodernism, fiat of a persuasive theme of condemnation or any other means by which you may wish to identify this evil will destroy this nation unless we take back what these enemies of the people have stolen.
Remember! They are the elite. You are stupid and dependent upon them.
Do you honestly believe that it is necessary to have a degree in law in order to qualify as a representative for good and honest government in this nation? In recent years, most people do. The constitution says that any citizen subject to age restrictions can go for broke! For that matter, I personally believe that the Supreme Court should have a majority of non-legal minds setting on and within this supreme hall of justice!
Criticism, a form of condemnation, is prevalent in every phase of our modern living. Imaginary fear is created and in any given situation someone else has the answer. In practically every TV ad we are daily bombarded with a barrage of problems that the "professionals" have solved in our behalf. Do as I do and life will be a bed of roses. Rarely do these ads reflect a situation where someone has figured out a solution for themselves. It would be self-defeating to tell the truth; therefore we are trained, by rote, not to think!
Life can be a bed of roses if we would let the professionals do our thinking for us and wrest away the control and responsibility educating our children.
Cloud nine will drop down and carry you away if you will allow the liberal elitist to take care of you, mind, body and spirit. You are too dumb to take care of yourself in the freest nation on earth. Believe this and slavery is just beyond the next cloud!
Mass and modern communications like radio and television have brought forth a relative new evolving science of political correctness/postmodernism reaching maturity within my lifetime. This public condemnation, a trial without a judge, council or jury is becoming commonplace and those of us that practice a policy of political incorrectness become victims of a vile and evil entity that has taken on a life of its own. Ignorance, half-truth and apathy are its feeding ground!
This monster can only be defeated when, we the people, start to think for ourselves!
