CHOICE

Mankind is, more or less, forced to live and conduct his behavior by conforming to the tenets and dogma of family, religion and government.  Over my lifetime, which has been considerable, I find that adult people, generally speaking, in the USA usually fall within one of two categories.

1. They place God first, then their family and their community, their state, their nation and then the world and in that order.  I call them conservatives.
2. Or they do the opposite.  They place the world, the nation, the state, the community, the family and then God, if they can figure out who He is, and only when they get into trouble.  I call them liberals.

I am merely making a statement of fact as I see it.

Compare.

Conservatives look at their God in a tender, human and a personal sort of way.  They know God made man in the image of Himself.  They also know that God possesses some of the attributes of man but to an infinitely higher degree. God has the answers.  They don’t!

Liberals have a tendency to make God in their own image.  They look at God to be an abstraction, a separate entity and generally do not think of God as a person.  Their philosophy seems to be that they wouldn’t think of dragging God down to our level where he can really be helpful.  Anyway the liberals have most of the answers anyway!

Conservatives expects themselves and their fellow citizens to be responsible individuals, to be moderate, prudent, cautious and traditional in manner and style.  They have a natural tendency to conserve and preserve whatsoever is tried and true within their religion, their family and their government.

Liberals actually believe themselves and their fellow liberals to be superior to everyone else.  They are elitist and relish and enjoy a constant state of change.  They seem to be a dissatisfaction way down deep inside themselves, as if they need inferior people to depend upon them for their existence.  This is prevalent within their religion, family and government.

By and large, conservatives believe that the United States of America is a republic, a country governed by the elected representatives of its people and headed usually by a President.  In the USA it is a republic protected by the Constitution of the United States,    
an inspirational document, written by men who believed in the Judeo/Christian principles
of responsibility as stated therein.

On the other hand liberals are doing everything they possibly can do to secularize our government; to convert our spiritual dependency as stated in the Declaration of Independence, to that of a worldly dependency, devoid of God in every which way, shape, manner or form they can.
 
Conservatives are overwhelmingly backing our Commander in Chief in executing the war on terrorists.

Liberals seem to be more concerned about promoting the immoral and decadent social sins that our enemies used to become what they are – terrorists.

That is the way I see it.  You be the judge!
